WHAT IS THE DENTAL ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY COVER? 

Our dental plans include access to a Global Dental Accident and Emergency Assistance Scheme. The Scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insurance scheme, established to offer support to patients who request assistance or treatment following an accident, a dental emergency or are diagnosed with mouth cancer.

The benefits include:

• Emergency dental treatment claimed when more than 25 miles away from the practice. Must request assistance within 30 days of treatment when in the UK or 90 days if abroad.
• Dental accident cover- if a patient suffers dental injury which requires treatment following an accident, benefits may be paid. The placement of implants is included if this is most clinically appropriate, up to £2500 per implant.
• Hospital benefits- Benefits may be paid if you are admitted to hospital for treatment as an inpatient or partly under the care of a consultant who specialises in dental or maxilla facial surgery.
• Mouth cancer- Fixed pay out of £2500 if a patient is diagnosed with mouth cancer by a dentist or doctor.

You can set up your monthly Direct Debit payment at reception or by getting in touch with the practice. Please note, an £8 registration fee will also be collected with your first month’s collection.
